Search by Decision Type
Search decisions made by the Maryland Public Employee Relations Board, as well as by the previous three labor relations boards, by public employer type. PERB does not post decisions involving dismissals for untimeliness or lack of jurisdiction, or letters indicating that no complaint was issued.
- Unfair Labor Practice Decisions: Filed against public employers or unions they believe violated their workplace rights.
- Unit Clarification Decisions: Filed in the event of a dispute as to whether certain employees are within a bargaining unit.
- Negotiability Dispute Decisions: A determination on mandatory, permissive or illegal subjects of bargaining, only for public school employers and unions.
- Decisions on Impasse Matters: When either or both bargaining parties believe a deadlock exists over mandatory subjects of bargaining.
- Election Certifications: When unions seek to represent a unit/group of employees or when employees do not wish to be represented by a union.
